The College of St. Joseph announces its inaugural popular culture conference. It will take place April 13th-14th, 2012 on the campus of the College of St. Joseph 71 Clement Road, Rutland, VT. Papers are sought on a wide range of popular culture/cultural studies papers, topics, especially panels that explore the enduring figure of the barbarian in Western popular culture. The deadline for proposals is January 15, 2012. Send 250-word paper proposals, 400-500 word panel ideas, or general questions to Dr. Jonas Prida: jprida@csj.edu
